The Swiss Neuromodulation Society

The Swiss Neuromodulation Society is the duly recognized national chapter society of the International Neuromodulation Society (INS). It is a non-profit organisation founded in 2010 and devoted to the advancement of the field of neuromodulation in Switzerland. It is composed of clinicians and scientists working in all aspects of neuromodulation including anesthesiology, neurosurgery, urology, cardiology, gastro-enterology, nurses, coordinators, technicians and corporate members. The primary purposes of the Swiss Neuromodulation Society is to disseminate scientific, clinical, legislative and economic information germane to the field of neuromodulation and promote accessibility of all aspects of neuromodulation. 

The Switzerland Neuromodulation Society has the following objectives :

• Promote cohesion and connection between the Swiss specialists practicing neuromodulation (electrical stimulation and intrathecal drug delivery)
• Be the key contact for all issues relating to the field of neuromodulation
• Promote high quality standards for the clinical practice of neuromodulation through the establishment of national guidelines;
• Encourage scientific research in the field of neuromodulation;
• Take care of the image of the discipline on its partners and to the public;
• Ensure professional, political and economic interests of members;
• Organize an annual scientific conferences and other continuing education courses in the field of neuromodulation;
